Market status: Active — limited marketing. ETO receives active weekly development and support (releases through August 2026, HUD FY2026 compliance, new Time-Based Alerts and an accessibility roadmap), but Bonterra no longer markets it standalone: its website centers on Apricot, and whether ETO is sold to new customers is not verified. Ask Bonterra directly about new-customer availability and long-term positioning.

Overview

ETO (Efforts to Outcomes) is the enterprise case management and outcomes platform built by Social Solutions, now owned by Bonterra. Its current help-center description positions it for large nonprofits, government agencies, and community collaboratives handling multiple partners, high program volumes, advanced security, and multifaceted reporting. Washington State's WorkSource system runs on ETO, reflecting its workforce-development heritage; October 2025 releases delivered HUD FY2026 HMIS Data Standards compliance.

ETO's market position requires care: it receives active weekly releases (through August 2026), a new help center (May 2026), new capabilities (Time-Based Alerts, July 2026), and a published accessibility roadmap — but Bonterra's website no longer markets ETO to new buyers. The former product page redirects attention to Apricot ("ETO is now a part of Bonterra"), solutions and pricing pages cover Apricot only, and Bonterra's roadmap materials describe data-transfer paths between its Impact Management products without announcing any end-of-life. Whether ETO is sold to new customers is not verified.

Configuration is enterprise-grade: form building with validation and conditionality, configurable dashboards, workflows and approvals, enterprise/site/program administration tiers, and customizable terminology.

Case Management Guide analysis

ETO is actively maintained but no longer marketed standalone; Bonterra's public materials center on Apricot, and its roadmap FAQ discusses migration paths between products without deadlines. Prospective buyers should ask Bonterra directly about new-customer availability and long-term positioning.
